Proper and Adequate Daily Health Care including Physical Observation, Check Ups, Treatment and Medication especially for the persons  with intellectual disabilities is the utmost  important phenomena to maintain their Quality of Life and to ensure their Sustainable Developmental Growth.

Details of Services –

• Medical Unit with all the preliminary required equipments such as Fowler Beds, oxygen cylinder, oxygen concentrator, nebulizer, saline stand, PPE Kits, Face- masks, Face shields, Hand Gloves, Different Hand-rubs, and the others as per doctor’s advice to render primary health care services to our residents as per needs to avoid the hospital check-ups as much as possible.
• Two separate Clinic Rooms for Male & Female Residents
• Three Consultant Physicians who visits our CCI on regular basis for checkup of all the residents as well as Trained Nurses to improve health services to the residents.
• Provisions of Special Diet as per Doctor’s Advice
• Special emphasis is given on playing of different indoor games, playing, and yoga as per desires of the residents along with the regular Daily Activity Schedule (which include activities of daily living and some special activities and classes such as drawing, listening music, watching TV etc.)
• Maintenance of the Individual Medical File for each and every resident (both general &special (psychiatric)) is a Mandatory Practice.
• Regular monthly blood pressure, blood sugar and pulse checkup as per doctors’ advice.
• Checkup of the residents under 18 years is done by Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Kariyakrama (RBSK) under Dept. of Dist. Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, twice a month.
• Besides these, emergency medical services are provided by the Different Govt. Hospitals.
• Different Aids & Appliances – Wheelchairs, Hearing Aid, Spectacles etc.
• Two Well Equipped Ambulances
• Gym (including cycle, walker, gym ball)

• Medical checkup of all the residents is done by our Medical Officer, Consultant Psychiatrist and Gynecologist on regular basis.
• Monthly blood pressure and pulse checkup of all the residents are also done.
• Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) Team under Dept. of Dist. Family Welfare, Govt. visit our organization twice in a month.
• Besides these, emergency medical services are provided by the different Govt. Hospitals & Medical Colleges (NRS, National, Calcutta Medical College, Barasat, Pavlov, Lumbini Park, BDN-Sub-Division etc.)
• Different Aids & Appliances- Wheelchairs (2), Hearing Aid, Spectacles etc.
